What was the last blessing in disguise you received?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for January 28, 2009:
For Example
I can't say I've ever received a blessing in disguise. That's not to say I haven't quailed at the sight of some rumbling, monstrous visitation of the universe's intent, only that I couldn't muster up the kahunas to see it for what it was. If it was disguised at all it was because I placed the disguise between me and it, and not because of any intrinsic quality it possessed.
At least that's what I think.
Today.

Help

this is lovey. tonight, I encouraged my yoga students (and my teach who was taking my class) to look for the gift inside the apparent adversity. I hadn’t wanted to teach the class, but it was an emergency, someone else couldn’t do it and so I said I would, reluctantly. and after class the teach/studio owner said it was the best class he’d taken in a long time. that was sweet, because I don’t teach that often and I was nervous. so– there was a gift in the thing I had been slightly averse to. yay!!
kahunas. where does one go to get them enlarged? or get some if one has none?? ;-) how does one “muster them up”?
Thanks Dawn. I love the idea of an emergency yoga class. Sounds like a hot new TV drama. “Previously, on Bhakti and the City…” Who should star?
OMG! What a Freudian slip. I meant to write “cojones” and…well, wrote something entirely different. Well, not entirely. Maybe one of those smiling Bob ads was on in the background and the subliminal message got to me.
;-)
I like the term nut sac,I so don’t like the word scrotum it kinda sounds like it looks sometimes…scrotum all scrunchy.
Now cohones there’s a word after my heart :-)
This picture is a zillion words isn’t it.
Although i don’t wish adversity on myself or others at this point I do know that it has brought me much more than stagnant, plus i think i’m wired to find the positive in everything anyways.
Scrotum i just had to say it one more time
I love how you said this.
& combined with the words kahunas & cojones,
I somehow came to think of this quote:
Life is a rush into the unknown.
You can duck down & hope nothing hits you,
Or stand as tall as you can, show it your teeth & say:
“Dish it up, baby, and don’t be stingy with the jalapenos.
grey owl.
Hmmmm BB, scrotum … I can’t get it out of my head that it means something some big bearded Scottish guy does at the Highlander Games.
Thanks tara. I bet it’d be fun giving you a Rorschach test … ;-)
