Thanks gais. And tara, my head seems to be spinning a lot anyway so I always have some kind of spin on things directly hooked up with my dizziness….;-)
Yeah. A birthday is like a rainbow-colored ribbon across the imaginary finish-line of a 364 km road-race in which you can go as slow or as fast as you want, can decide if you win, lose, or just toddle along smelling the flowers. Ever read the children's book, Ferdinand the Bull? It's about a bull who didn't want to fight. He just wanted to sit in the field and smell the flowers … until one day, he sat on a bee … I won't ruin the story for you, if you haven't read it. Best part about birthdays is - the cake! (how's that for dizzy?)
Albert this is the best way to look at birthdays ever and about Ferdinand. My father knew the guy who wrote it he came over a few times I think his son was one of my father's students. I remember being AWE struck as a child as it was one of my favorite books.
good thinking
I like your spin on the b-day thang.. tara <3
